Always annoying when that feature is over looked by developers for pc games cyberpunk 2077 did that had to get a mod for it. =P
I have this problem with a lot of games that don't properly port over controls to keyboard players on PC so it's paying off fantastically. Way easier then messing with VJoy everytime game or drivers update.
I know this is not what you'd asked. But you can "walk" holding the right click button.
I didn't know about reWASD. Thanks for pointing it out. I've downloaded it the trial version and I've tried to get it working for the toggle but I haven't had any success. I've searched online for tutorials/examples but what I've found hasn't really helped. Could you share how you got it working or post the link to any tutorial where a walk toggle config is explained?
Thanks,
This is the best one: https://forum.rewasd.com/forum/rewasd/technical-questions-aa/218696-slow-walk-kb-keybind-toggle
It's all about deflection sensitivity. You can make it a profile toggle which is numbered 1 through 4 and colored (4 being purple as in the screenshots in link). Or you can toggle it via the key bind (which isn't in the link). It's called [Key Combo] (which may not be included in trial) and allows you to adjust percentage sensitivity. Positive % is forward and negative is backwards for Y axis. Respectively for X axis. PM me if you need further help, I got screenshots for how I setup mine and you can export scripts.
I went postal when I discovered reWASD and spammed this link in every "walk" topic in Mad Max lol and Steam dinged me for it xdd. I was too excited.
