PSA: Put -dx11 in your game's launch options if crashing on startup
As per title - Put '-dx11' without quotes in your game's launch options if crashing on startup.
The recent update screwed up a lot of people globally by forcing DX12 on.

To the devs: please don't do this again - global settings updates/patches should check for and respect existing settings.
If I had DX12 off previously, it should REMAIN off and there should be an if/else check for this upon patching the game.

for me it also turned on all the ray tracing options, loaded the game up and had 13fps after the patch

how do put something in the "games launch options"? I think im having this issue, the game wont properly install (first launch set up) because it says DX12 is not supported. but where would I put this command line, it's got to be a document in the game files right?

Steam library > games > right-click on [game] > properties > launch options

I have -dx11 in the launch options but when I go into the settings it still shows it as using dx12 :( I'm trying to fix the stuttering problem.

Anyone got any advice?

(I installed dx11 manually but still no joy. I'm running Win7.)
