Game length?
Hey, how many hours does Last Labyrinth take to beat? Thanks!

It will be a lot harder to get a good answer for that given its puzzle game so some people might beat it a lot faster then others. But that said they really should give a time frame of how long it will take to beat given the price

Wow that's actually a decent amount of time for an escape room like game. I will say I would put that time frame on your store page if you haven't already. Its a big turn off for me (and others from what I see on reddit) to see a near AAA priced game and not see how long it takes.

Thank you guys! :)

While not technically untrue due to "all the endings", the vast majority of people will put under 5 hours into this game to get to THE ending, and that's with time added for failing puzzles because some of the puzzles withhold necessary information from you until you fail. A lot of what little gametime is here is padded out due to rote trial and error.

Realistically I think almost nobody will put more than 5 hours into this. Please take that into mind when deciding to pick the game up at its current price, which currently clocks in at about $10CAD per hour of play.

There is no THE ending. If you stop at the first ending you get, you'll only play for about 2-3 hours, and you won't explore the vast majority of the mansion or its puzzles. A big part of the game is uncovering the story by getting every ending, because no single ending tells the full story about what's going on in the game.

I'm about 15 hours into the game and still uncovering new storyline.

The majority of people will not replay the same content just to get a different ending, while i'm glad there is a potential 10-15 hours of content, I think most people would agree in wanting all of that time be new unseen content. I'm still interested in the game but maybe during a sale

so you basically have to replay the same rooms in order to get more puzzles and storylines? can the developer look into skipping already played content please?

Hey, PS4 player here chiming in about replaying puzzles. There are only 3 that need to be replayed to access new puzzles. Basically once you've cleared the prologue, there's 3 branching paths with a puzzle that leads to another 2 paths. Seeing every puzzle requires very little repetition. Alternate endings are a bit of a pain, though. Half the branches just end, while the other half have you play a game of doubutsu shogi. The shogi paths have two different endings depending on whether you win or lose.

For the most part, yeah. Most of the puzzles were pretty fun, though a couple were terrible. One required so much thought that I had to start writing stuff down (breaking immersion since it's suppose to be a VR game where your arms are bound). And another felt like it broke the game's own rules with how you interact with objects.

Another thing I do love is the dark comedy aspect. Failing puzzles means you and the girl end up dying in ridiculous ways. I actively sought out all the deaths because of that (and the game does keep track of it).

Let me guess, the balancing one? I gave up doing them in my head at the last one. Had to do the math on paper.

Quick question, do you know if there's a true end or anything? Do I get something for getting all the endings or do they just help explain the story?

Yeah, it was the balancing one. And I haven't actually gotten all the endings yet. Just all the puzzles and deaths. Should have an answer for you on Sunday if I can stay on schedule.
Mitroll Nov 29, 2019 @ 12:09pm
Yes, if you get all of the endings, the next time you 'wake up' you'll see the final ending.

It isn't an escape room game. This is a whole new genre of game. It is impossible to describe, but it is really something to get excited about, and it is worth every penny.
