Like playing in slow motion

I have tried all different settings in-game, and have tried adjusting my monitor refresh rate. The game is sooooooo slow to play and I have no idea how to correct this. Any suggestions? I'm really wanting to enjoy this game, but now I feel like I'm not getting my money's worth.

Please help.

Hi Novelty, thank you for purchasing Disjunction! I'm sorry to hear you're still having framerate issues, even after trying the in-game options. It seems like a few other people are having similar problems, and we're looking into things on our end to see if there's anything we can do, but we don't have a timeline for a fix. We definitely want you to feel like you're getting your money's worth, so don't hesitate to refund the game and try the demo in a few weeks to see if the game performs better for you at that time. It generally helps to list at least what GPU card you're using and driver iteration. NVIDIA released some new Geforce drivers the other day (I doubt they're optimized for this, but might help).

Could you try to plug in a controller?

I know about a few GameMaker-made games (Hotline Miami, Gunpoint), that had the same issue - it just ran very slow. A temporary fix that worked for those games had been to just plug in a controller and it just worked with the normal speed (didn't have to play with the controller - it just has to be plugged in).
