Too many items
Planting one Cotton Seed gives me 5 Raw Cotton (on Watered and Fertilized tilled soil) now Processing one raw cotton in the thresher gives me 1 cotton lint and 2 Cotton Seeds thats 10 Cotton Seeds for every cotton seed planted? what am i supposed to do with all the leftover seeds? i can sure as hell not store them all

Can you implement some early game solution for disposing unwanted items or am forced to have all these endless towers of leftovers spread across the whole map?

Use the Easter Island Head for the cotton seeds (and for all unwanted items). I have multiple of them across my town - one for cotton seeds, one for unwanted turf, and one for all the random items i throw on the ground while programming bots.

You need to finish the 'Basic Shelter' task from the academy to unlock it. Essentially you need to house 20 colonists in the first crude hut and produce 100 x10 Wuv.

Alternatively you can just leave the seeds on the ground and let the game delete them on its own. But its critical that you don't touch them in any way! As soon as you do, the game prevents them from being naturally deleted.

Any organic materials can also be put into a Compost Bin.

Yeah, this. Compost the excess seeds and have a bot that takes the excess to a stone head. Could even take this a step further and move the fertalizer to a centralized distribution site and have a single bot dispose of excess fertilizer (this approach also ensures other farms that aren't producing as much can get some fert).

Also set up the production chain (for cotton) so that they won't plant more if the raw cotton bins are full. This'll ensure the farm "pulses" instead of runs constantly.

For cereal it gets a bit weird since the seeds are used to make flour, and straw isn't used often. Straw is likely the thing needing disposing of n this case (that's how I set it up).

For cereal I usually have the harvesting bot check both the seed & straw bin so, that if either is below the full threshold then, the bot goes ahead & harvest some cereal.

Probably unecesary but I like to have my stocks future proofed in case some new tech requires ungodly amounts of say straw but not the seeds.

I find the bird will eat berries.
Will bird eat cotton (raw) in future version of this game?

I chose not to go that route since I use the grain silo as the blocker for the thresher (all the actual farming stuff is keyed off the cereal crates in my case, with the thresher being keyed off the grain silo).

Once I start using the flour the straw won't be an issue (I do store ~300 straw in the reserves though).
