For example I have a plank pallet in my base.
I train the robot to:
repeat always
go to plank pallet
repeat until hands full
take plank from pallet
repeat until hands empty
find blueprint in area X
go to blueprints
place item
I have one for planks, one for logs, one for stone & one for sand (not done poles, straw or others yet but the idea is the same)
You can't really train a worker to build a full building but you can train multiple robots to supply all the stuff needed.
Every so often you stop them and move area X to wherever you are building next
Feels a little cheaty as you can carry a whole damn city in your pockets :)
Edit: Still let the bots do the building, if that wasn't clear.
You can connect all of the bots search area to signs so that you don't need to pause the bots & change each bots search area individually.
At the moment using the same method you are using I have about 16 bots for the various materials & I am certain I will be making more.
This is the one I did not know about. Soooo.... when training him, I should do it to one blueprint myself, then that generates this instruction (which I haven't seen) in a bot? And it's for any blueprint, not just the one I did? Is that how it works? And then that's in an area, I can keep doing new different blueprints in that area? Please don't tell me about Signs yet, I am having enough trouble with the basics as-is!
You literally do not have to do that if you connect them to signs are all you would have to do is adjust the 1 sign to update the search area of all the bots attached to it.
Also if you use the method that ShutEye_DK mentions then that means you have an army of bots able & ready to build any blueprint anywhere you want by, just adjusting 1 sign.
