Nothing else should require constant zone readjustment.
I may not be "constantly" adjusting zones, but it's certainly something I do a lot over the course of the game. Making it more convenient would be much appreciated.
I haven't tried it yet, but can signs be used for setting zones? I set one down and noticed I could mark an area with it. Can that somehow be used to copy a zone to a set of bots?
Name something that requires constant zone readjustment instead.
Quite often do you rezone when either moving production else where to optimise or for expansion. Also when upgrading to newer bots the zone is bigger so if you copied the program you have adjust the area. I don't mind the clicking but I feel its often difficult to select the correct bot. I know I can use the side panel to get around this though
Perhaps being able to set the zones for the entire team at once could help with this
I'm always mixing up the mouse buttons. Played 3 hours and got really tired already.
Example of overlaying is a team of 'rechargers/revivers'. I don't know where one's area ends and others' starts, haha. Moreso when it's best to have two in the same area.
- EDIT: Nevermind, overlay is already there.
I'm thinking of when you expand/move a forestry, farm, colonist care or build area. The last two are the ones that take the most updating, and all of those industries often use common search areas for different tasks.
