Until "Civ 4" 80% will be build with wood. so you gonna need allot and later more metal and logs for fuel.
Some more tips:
*be aware everything is going to be needed by the 10.000 probably not just one.
*build as soon as you can a automated bot construction line. Besides coding bots it's going to be the main part. (if you don't craft/build things on your own. what will get tiresome after many hours)
-> when doing something yourself,almost only do it when you are also recording/teaching a bot.
-> because you will need to do it again...
*Create CONSTANT describtive and short name convention and name ALL bots! (trust me,it gets coonfusion)
ex. X$ function of bot (where X is ,G(ather), C(raft) ,M(over) | location/zone/area | | "Top item:Ingredient" bv axe:planks | crude metal -> Cmetal, good backpack->Gbackpack | Vx (model of bots skins base,1-4)
but i dont really understand the maximum -1, do the bots not drop harvested stuff automatically inside the zone for it to be picked up or am i missunderstanding something?
but i understand now that probably i need a huge area for the wood.
If you like for example harvest trees in your max range in a square, bots that pick up logs could not pick logs outside that border because there max range is the same (ofcourse without thinking about different levels of bots or upgrades)
