Colonize or free game mode

Was just wondering which game mode people play and why.

I went directly for colonisation because it was already added to the game when I purchased it and it was telling me that it was the best mode for me, unlocking things one at a time and having some sorts of goals.

I can't say I have any idea of what the free game mode entails at all but I was sold on the idea of progressing through the tiers without being overwhelmed with everything right from the start.

I don't see the point of free game mode. I'm not very creative and I don't have any specific thing I want to do in that world.

Colonize mode. Because it is similar to a "campaign mode" you find in other games.

I also use Creative mode, as a drawing board, when I want to test a new idea quickly.

I agree with "Wat" I useully play in colonise but whenever a new update i do free play to see contenets.
