So, how do you automate bots recharge?
Do you use 2 recharge bots per area, so they can recharge each other as well for infinite recharge?
Even that will break at some point if you get unlucky, so probably needs to add even more bots to automate recharging.
Perhaps there are some future techs that improve it.

This is actually smart, thanks.

Btw, my crude workbench have exclamation mark on it after I completed some tasks.
I guess it's missing resources or something, but it never will get "filled" cuz it only requires 1branch/1stone.
Any ideas what it is tho?

Ah this exclamation mark is a new craftable object.

2 bots per area(s) worked well for me, rarely both bots fail at the same time, and if so you can recharge them manually every X hours or so it happens. Just make a charger group and you can see if any failed in the group overview. Also keep in mind with "Exit on repeat fail" you can cover more areas, Even withou brain upgrades Mk0 can cover 2 scan areas, Mk1 3 areas, mk2 4 areas, mk3 7 areas

Another idea is to assign a few bots to a sign and then give the sign to another bot who you allow to walk around your compound to cover much bigger area.:steamhappy:

Is that a different technology? Because I don't understand what do you mean by sign.

Have 1 bot hold the sign and move, have the recharge bots operate on the area defined around the sign. (so you have an area that isn't static, but moves all the time.

That's a great idea!

Hey no problem!

the bots seem to move slower when they are at low charge. If we could invent a charging station and tell them to go there when they are low on juice maybe..

Or, we could be able to define a patrol instead of justt a zone.

The problem to me is when the bots that are supposed to recharge all run out at the same time, its rare but it happens.

I put a sign/billboard per area. Then assign 2 bots per group of sign/billboard to recharge anyone in the areas. Mk2 bots can be assigned to 4 areas each. Also put all recharge bots in a single group.
If both bots in an area fail at the same time, I recharge them manually.

Interesting. Should need only 3 bots patrolling everything. 1 carrying the sign and moving around, 2 recharging.

If you do static zones don't forget you can put each set of find, move, charge in a repeat loop with a escape so they can cover more ground. One mk2 bot can fit four sets of those commands as a whole which lets it cover a very large area.

2 per area works fine. Extremely rare that they both die at the same time, especially once they have upgrades.
