Golden Keys/ Golden Key Doors Broken?

For example, it took a very long time to get a key to work on the door inside the crypt because it somehow never worked (tried all characters, most keys, door just wouldn't open, keys wouldn't get used) and now I have the same problem with the huge door inside the crypt itself. Is it a general problem/bug or do I need to question physics and reality itself?

I know this is an old post... but just in case anyone else comes looking for the same thing... not all locks use the normal golden keys. The one you mentioned inside the crypt uses a special key.

I do know that but the one that spawns in the one coffin, does simply not work, is there another one?
