Duplicate Golden Lumber Exploit

Found a glitch while trying a different glitch that didn't work.

While I am writing this AS "Duplicate Golden Lumber Exploit" I'm pretty sure this can be done w/ any item that can be PLACED on your farm field. Stone and Normal Lumber apply.

Step 1: Get Golden Lumber and another stack.
Step 2: Go to field, hold Golden Lumber and then place Golden Lumber ("A" button on XBOX controller)
Step 3: While the placing animation is still going, press Menu ("Y" button on XBOX controller)
Step 4: Switch the Golden Lumber stack and other item stack (this doesn't seem to actually use items from either stack)
Step 5: There should be a Golden Lumber placed in your field, while your stack counts have not changed.
Step 6: Repeat

Golden Lumber can be obtained during Winter 2 w/ Thomas' Quest or from Gott's shop after obtaining 999 normal lumber.

I've played around w/ other menu mechanics to attempt to get duplication glitch to work, this is the only one I found, please comment if you have found another one. Would be really interested if found a way to duplicate Mystic Ore. I'm only really interested in in-game exploits, please no save hacking or trainers.
