FoMT is not the greatest by any means, it pales next to Trio of Towns or A Wonderful Life, but Poot plays like shovelware made by a chinese sweatshop developer trying to cash in on a fad.

I just hope the new team actually manages to make the franchise better down the line sure they can probably have some input from Hashimoto since he's been the producer and director of the games since Wada stepped down from Marvelous.
And compared to the past titles 3oT is loaded with sooo much content that it's overwhelming yet its the most enjoyable game in the franchise history thus far but YMMV.
If they wanted to see a more lukewarm reception they could probably remade 3oT for the switch/PS4/XBOX or revisit SoS1 by using what people liked in 3oT.... having a shipping bin for one
