Controller Sensitivity Issues

I am having an almost constant issue where it is like I have something wrong with controller or button sensitivity. Buttons get double pressed and I have to randomly tap the joystick in attempts to save and relaunch when it starts having these issues. Please if anyone has found any tips or help for fixing this problem please tell me because I just refound this game again and I love it so much but it is really stressing me out to play it right now because of this issue.

Hey, from what I understand, you might have an issue with Steam Pad Overlay. Check following link if you have PS4 controller: https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/boards/916373-pc/74932294
If you have any other controller, I recommend clicking shift+tab during play, and pressing controller configuration - possibly your controller is stuck with two configurations at once - happens rarely, but might happen. Restoring basic controller config when that happens solved thing for me once.

If that not helped, let me know what type of controller do you have - that might help identify the issue.

I actually fixed it myself! I run dual monitors and if I clicked to the other monitor and didn't click back to the game then I would run into this issue. Ever since I have been making sure to click back into the game I haven't had issues. Thank you for your response though!
