I knew the event means nothing for game progress, but i still want to see this haha
WHY!!!?
I loved the fact that I could get the bachelors and bachelorettes to marry each other...
Is the only game I know where I can be friends with them and see them happily married after I picked my own partner...
Am I the only one who hate seeing the singles in these type of games stay single?
I had the same problem, the event triggers when you go out of the mine to the srping area but it took a looong while for me. It triggered for me on year 6 after being married for a while with both Karen and Rick at max FP level
That's precisely why they left them out. Japanese players were sad that you broke canon couples and left a single bachelor/ette by themselves.
So... now ALL of them stay single and miserable to prevent that.
Amazing logic, Japan.
Even though Rune Factory 2 introduced a feature just for that very thing, with Yue.
Yue ends up marrying the guy whose girl you "stole" from him.
They added two new characters to this game.
Marvelous could just as easily have set it so the remaining bachelor(ette) left all alone would end up with a new character.
Maybe even set it so you get either Jennifer or Brandon, depending on your gender.
Or just tell the Japanese players to quit whining and just deal with it.
Point being, they had options.
...And they picked the dumbest option.
I don't like extra buys(DLC)
but presonally I would actually pay for a DLC with the rival weddings...
just saying
and by god would you look at the selection for Story of Seasons 1 (not sure how it would titled as if it had been on the harvest moon name though)
I won't be surprised with the amount of female players choosing Raeger in SoS1
I'm sure the answer is "yes", but do they also have zero rival events in this new Pioneers in Olive Town as well?
What's wrong with SoS's selection? (Are you talking bachelors or all of them?)
in SoS1 I have no issues.... Elise is just HARD I TELL YE HARD, I still opted to get Angela in SoS1... well generally speaking in terms of gameplay in SoS it became a hoarding game
Wow... sometimes I wonder why we try.
"I hate leaving a character single and alone. So let's make ALL of them be single and alone!"
Might as well do like Innocent Life: A Futuristic Harvest Moon (PSP) and just not have a marriage system at all. Then EVERYONE will be alone! Bwahahaha!!
...Too much?
------
I thought of going for Elise, but never did. (I think my 1st playthrough, I started going for Lillie (but hadn't given up on Elise))
But I got distracted with Trio of Towns, and never got back to SoS.
(I'm going for Iluka, FYI. The feisty island priestess. (I would've gone for Stephanie, but I don't have the DLC))
for ToT I chose Kasumi
