Stopped Getting Vans Favorite?
I was making 10 individual purchases and getting Van's Favorite, but suddenly it stopped working. I make the purchases but it's not coming in the mail. Does it randomly change or is it always 10? Not sure if its a bug?

No. It always 10 purchases, maybe you accidentally make a purchase somewhere, selling animals, upgrading from Gotts and Saibara, buying items counted as purchase.

Okay, I did another test. I didn't sell anything in the shipping bin, I didn't upgrade anything. I bought 10 individual chicken feed. I didn't buy anything else, the next day I am still not getting Van's Favorite!

I think you should do each purchase, like a purchase, sleep, check mail, if you don't get any mail, load again, do 2 purchases, sleep, check mail, until you get Van's Favorite. I always do that if I skip something, like buy sheep without knowing.

You may have mis count at one point if you like to use cheat engine I have found the method that checks for it so you can know how many times you have purchased an opened a window?

Ok, I bought one item each day until I got Vans Favorite in the mail. I didn't realize the count carried over. Thanks!

I'd like to know how you managed to track the VanFav value, I personally couldn't find it. :) It'd be nice to see it and save time selling items and reloading if I lose track for a day.

its a 4 byte integer and is more or less near your stamina pointer probably +279C from the stamina pointer

I understand searching 4 byte integers, but nothing about being "near" pointers; any way you could explain it for those unfamiliar? Thanks so much for helping.

so I assume you arent using a base table ok ok so first you need to search for an unknown number
buy 2 items by opening the shop windows twice search increased by 2 or number of items you bought for that X day by opening the shop windows X number of times

https://pastebin.com/dF19hWxq

may or may not work... I was just pointermapping as I was still a noob back in the day

I found it now, for some reason searching directly wasn't working before (I tried direct value and unknown > increased by x) thanks for helping me!

buy fodder 1 by 1 while not having any in inventory at start of day, easy count.
granted, if you plan to buy anything else you have to take it into account.

Yeah, I was having trouble balancing it with buying tools upgrades/etc because some things did count like selling animals and others didn't - and I was usually off by one, meaning the next day I had to sell 1/9 items or keep using a counter app to manually press, which was still wrong. I really love having this tracker show the number for me - saved me so much time figuring out every possible thing that changed it. :)

What the hell are y'all talking about about and how do I get this? My Vans counter is messed up too, I bought exactly 10 items. I buy one item, leave the store completely, came in and bought another, over and over until I hit 10, and it seems to take anywhere from 15-20 for it to trigger. I didn't even it triggered once until Fall 9 of year 1!!!
