noob questions that might be obvious to you

1 - is there a way to delete my save games, i want to empty my save slots
2 - I gave the blue flower to popuri, but then decided I wanted to give it to ran...can i get a divorce, also does the spouse help out at the farm?
3 - besides huang, are there other npcs that provide benefits for befriending them. Seems like I only get recipes from other people
4 - are cows the most profitable animal, i.e turning milk to cheese
5 - is the remote you get from van the only item that you can sell at a profit? i haven't gotten it yet because i don't have the 10 mil. i bought a quiz book for one million but huang only bought it for half that price.
6 - why would I bother growing flowers...for gifts/recipes? I mean crops make more money
7 - finally, is there a trick to winning the apple game

1. You need to turn off steam cloud saving feature, and navigate to your steam folder. You should be able to find your save games and delete them.

2. If you mean the preserved flower, yes you can give it to every single marriageable candidates except for the secret ones all at the same time. But if you're talking about the blue feather. No, you can only give it to one person and once that person accepts, there's no going back or change your mind. And you can't divorce them either. Spouse don't help out in the farm but depending on the spouse they may have other responsibilities outside of the farm. Otherwise, they just stay indoors to have babies with you and to raise them.

3. The more you befriend them, the more benefits you get. Not just recipes but earlier and later shop hours, and unlockable personal events that add up to your farm scores.

4. I can't answer this, I tend to balance out everything in my farm by having all animal types.

5. I think they already patched this. But I might be wrong. If not, then yes it's probably the only item that will give you a get rich quick scheme. But you should at least keep the remote for a while and use it before you sell it. It's really handy to use on the TV to cycle through every episode of shows in one sitting rather than having to wait the next day or the next week to continue the shows.

6. You need to grow flowers to add into your counter of item shipped log. If you want to marry the harvest goddess, you need to have shipped at least one of every single shippable items. Both the ones in your logs. And the ones that's not included in the shipping log.

1 - You don't need to turn off cloud save to delete the saves. You need to launch the game and go to a folder in your Appdata/Roaming folder. Type %appdata% into your window search bar and look for a folder called SOSFoMT. Go into the next folder and you'll see DPlaydata_# and delete the numbered saves that you want. Just be careful which one you delete.

2 - You can't get divorce after you marry if you gave them the blue feather and no, spouses do not help with the farm.

3 - Outside of recipies, you basically get access to locked areas. A decent one is Carter and his hidden forest behind the church. I'm pretty sure the shop hours are still the same tho. So not really that important.

4 - If we're going only off the barn, yes. Normal cows are the best source of money once you get them up to Platinum level. Tho, it would be best to have at least 1 of each cow in case you need flavored milk as a gift and maybe yarn.

5 - The remote has been patch to be properly half the amount of the buying price. It was never meant to be 50 mil.

6 - Gifts, Vase, Finish your shipping log, and part of the requirement for the Harvest Goddess and Kappa.

7 - You could do what Neo said or if you're feeling really cheap or lazy, just use a recording software like Shadowplay or OBS to record and replay the shuffling.

1. The reason why I said to turn off cloud save is because I tried deleting the save file directly to the Appdata/Roaming folder. But once I start the game again, the cloud resyncs the now "missing" save file and restored it from the cloud. Which practically brings back the saves that I deleted. So by turning off the cloud save, Steam won't check the cloud saves for any discrepancies and just use the local save which since now missing after deleting it, is now cleared.

3. Yes, befriending them does affect store operating hours, at least for most shops. Like the Supermarket, while officially opens at 9.00 am, you generally can't go in before 9 as the supermarket door always locked. But if you befriend Jeff and/or Sasha and/or Karen. You'll notice that the supermarket unlocks at 08.00 am and you can go in and start doing business. It also works in the end as well. You can still go into the supermarket up to 1 hour past the closing time and still managed to do business.

Gotts workshop doesn't work the same way because his schedule puts him outside of his cottage until he returns. So you can't do early business with him. But it usually works for other characters that area already in location 1 hour before their opening hours.

Early business hours like this gives benefit because you get to plan your day with a lot more flexibility, since the game is already quick-paced to begin with.

This is why you launch the game first. As long as you exit the game properly after deleting the saves, it should notice the saves being deleted and will update the cloud saves to reflect that. Why they didn't just add a delete function I'll never know.
