What happens if you failed a 'heart event'

I had a scene with Ran and told her her father was tactless because I felt like he was. She lost her blue heart after that scene

I assume I can still marry her right? Does it mean i'll have to redo the same scene when I grind it back to the blue heart?

don't worry, there is nothing good gifts can't do. In if the events are only to give you a boost in their affection they have for you, if you fail them it will only cost you to talk to them more days, day by day, and give them more gifts.

sometimes I have gotten to have red-hearted suitors, without having seen any of their events.

when you choose the wrong option you just lose some Love Points, but that scene from that heart will be counted, so wont be able to redo it, you will just have to recover the points that you lost, no worries, but if you choose the right one it gives a lot of points like a little boost for your relationship
