Well, as I wrote earlier: it's not a bug, it's a feature...
You must have edited your post to say that after the fact because when I first quoted it your post contained nothing but the link. I only just saw that response now when I scrolled back up.
The question of this thread was simple: is it normal to destroy every single rock on floor 50 or 100 and not get a single thing from any of them? Apparently the answer is "yes", which is all I wanted to know in the first place.
You might not have noticed, but I wrote it. I edit my posts frequently; the time when the messages were changed can be traced ( if proof is needed: https://i.ibb.co/4phW7Sj/proof.png ).
The only thing you can find on levels 50, 100, 150, and 200 is Alexandrite, but the gem is so rare that you might only find one piece of it or possibly none at all. Convienently, the Lake Mine elevator stops at the Alexandrite levels. The easiest elevator level to hunt for Alexandrite is level 100, where there are no pesky pitfalls to be found that would interrupt your search for the elusive gem.
So it's natural, that when you arrived to floor 50, if it doesn't spawn the Alexandrite, the whole floor will be empty.

So bottom line is, it's not a bug. You're just unlucky. Just save before you enter the floor (or before you enter the mine if you have unlocked the elevator). And start whacking those rocks and dig those grounds. If you don't find it, reload the save and try again until you do.
