Sorry to hear that, but I think you just had bad luck. It's possible to use a debug tool for your game and add that additional power berry manually into your stamina. Otherwise, if you don't want to go through all that you'll have to restart your playthrough. I'm sorry.

Here's a pro tip for you and for anyone: Always use the entire 8 save slots available to you. Use one save slot for one day, and use the next slot for the next day, and so on until you filled slot 8, then the next day you can overwrite slot 1. Like this example:
Slot 1: Spring 2
Slot 2: Spring 3
Slot 3: Spring 4
Slot 4: Spring 5
Slot 5: Spring 6
Slot 6: Spring 7
Slot 7: Spring 8
Slot 8: Spring 9
After the entire slot is full, Spring 10 could overwrite slot 1 and so on, so for Spring 10 and 11, it would look like this:
Slot 1: Spring 10
Slot 2: Spring 11
Slot 3: Spring 4
Slot 4: Spring 5
Slot 5: Spring 6
Slot 6: Spring 7
Slot 7: Spring 8
Slot 8: Spring 9
And keep going in each cycle.
That way, you always have a backup save 1 day before for the entire week. So if things like this ever happen, you just need to reload a previous save from a previous day, and you only miss out one day of work, and redo that one day instead of messing up your entire playthrough.
And there's enough backup files for a 1 week buffer if you mess something up that will affect a week's worth of work.
This is also good for permanently missable events or items.
I've used this save method since the PS1 era of HM:Back to Nature. I used all 2 memory cards for a total of 6 save slots for the game. It's really helpful.
is there a way go back to the over written saved file?
Otherwise, no I can't think of any way to restore a previously overwritted save file.
dont worry, im about to start my 3rd journey
haha
what of a chance to get that------ 5:50am catches power berry hahahah
But have a think about my save method that I mentioned. It'll really help you with getting through tight spots like this.
