throwing and gift button??

hhey, ive been wondering what button do i have to press to gift or to throw item, like good ol days hm fomt?

Whatever controller/config you use to select and toggle through your items, hit that and your item should appear above your head. (For switch controller it's the right analog, might be same for other controllers, no idea for PC)

When it's above your head, talk to someone (confirm button) to give the item

Pc its numbered keys 1 through till 8 i think, using gamepad its using the right thumbstick likewise with switch i believe

if you want to throw stick on the ground, be on field and have that item above your head and push confirm/interect button

They won't let you toss an item anymore so you don't have to worry about spamming button to give someone an gift.

I kinda miss throwing rocks and weeds away since it didn't cause stamina and the satisfaction of hearing the sound it makes when you throw it in water

you can still discard the items you want to throw away in your inventory

so how am I supposed to MINE effectively, I'm finally down to a level where I can get some gold and such but I can't pick any of it up because my inventory is full of scrap and copper

Check your inventory, there's a discard icon there.

Yeah, you can delete items straight from your bag. Highlight the item, the click on the trash can icon in the description.

I am using an xbox controller on my pc. I don't know how to give gifts using it. Please help.

Use your D-pad (Blue Feathers and the preserved flower are considered as tools) or secondary analog stick to navigate your backpack once you are holding something on top of your head just walk to an NPC and talk to them its "giving" them gifts
