Unplayable : Game is not in English and configuration tool has no option to select English

you have to edit in game, just change the first option until changes do english

choose the second option
click the top option and move the arrow to english

try verifying your game files, if that doesn't work reinstall (lukily it's only about 1GB)

So I downloaded it installed it and it says I can play it. Then when you hit play it says its launching but doesnt launch. I go to my control panel to uninstall it and the game doesnt exist. I go to the store page for the game and it doesnt exist. Where do I verify the file?

hmmm... so you don't have the game files in your steam games folder? also you can try to uninstall from in steam by right clicking the game in your libary and clicking unistall (I've found that some games don't show up in control panel)

edit: you may need to restart steam too if you haven't,

I have the same problem, I click to launch the game, my steam change the status to "playing" and after some seconds it closes de game automatic.

mine shows can't start because xaudio2_9.dll is missing. tried to reinstall it but keeps happening

hmmm... so you don't have the game files in your steam games folder? also you can try to uninstall from in steam by right clicking the game in your libary and clicking unistall (I've found that some games don't show up in control panel)

edit: you may need to restart steam too if you haven't,

There is no file in the games folder in the steam folder. I have restarted my computer and steam a few times now. Lastly I can uninstall the game but if the store page is gone where would I reinstall it then? Ugh this is ridiculous. I just want to play been waiting so long.

%steamapps%\common\STORY OF SEASONS Friends of Mineral Town\Config

Language 1 is English, 0 = japan.
Resolution 3 is 1440p.
Resolution 2 is 1080p.
Resolution 1 is 720p.

Resolution 4 is 2160p BUT BUGGED!!!

When launching the configuration tool, go to the last dropbox and select the second option. That will be the English option. Resolution and language can be changed in-game as well.

When setting to UHD it stretches the whole game over 2 monitors.

ah I'm sorry, not to sure seems like it's mostly down to steam messing up then. may have to wait a while i guess. for now just open a new thread, maybe someone else solved the issue.
