Check the mold, you have the option to melt ore. The recipes are there. Unfortunately, if you put the price for coal and wood to burn in the furnace, it's more efficient to buy iron ingot.

is there an unstuck button? I keep getting stuck in decorating. i need to save and load multiple times

Open map and click the teleport to home button.

Anyone know how to unlock the steel ingot recipe? I can't get the alchemist to teach me and there isn't a vendor that sells it...

Not sure its implemented. There is a vendor that sells steel ingots for free. Just not sure if its implemented to be worked with yet. If it is I haven't found it.

I found him too but you can't craft anything with the ingots until you learn the recipe, so that's pointless.

I think well have to be patient at this point. The game is in development and that could just be placeholder. Much will change as the game develops. Many of the scrolls for example are only 10g. That should change... and much more.
