The new Saints Row Character creation

Just seeing how you guys feel about it?
I tested it out and maybe its me, but the game seems very limited compared to the previous SR Games in terms of character creation/customization.

I haven't installed the EGS just to try that, but from looking at videos... it's kinda ♥♥♥♥ to be honest. Can't say I'm surprised though, I expect the rest of the game will be about on-par.

you can check it out yourself, from epic games. It seems to worse, hairstyles was very limit, and faces for women doesn't look good at all, idk something is off. Going to play more today and see again, but from what i can see, SR3 and SR4 has way more customization options , and features.

It is. They brought back layered clothing (sort of) but beyond that it's pretty much a downgrade.

haha people better be careful and don't spend 60 or 70 dollars for it. I probably end up downloading the game from a torrent site and wait for a sale before i buy it. Not making the same mistake i made with SR3R, thankfully i only paid 9.99 for that game.

I work with the unreal engine so I already had the launcher installed...figured I'd give it a shot being free and all. I was able to put a decent looking boss together, but I really had to work at it. For me the default composites were all terrible. I had to pick and choose certain parts from half a dozen templates and adjust from there. Both voice options for male and female sounded exactly the same, and the emote list was embarassing. I want my dollar dandy and ♥♥♥♥ off, dammit. The facial adjustments did feel better. You can make women that look different from each other. Aside from that though, it overall feels like a downgrade. Serious lack of clothing, makeup, hair, and tattoo options. There's also no jiggle physics. I was already worried when not only did they not include a basic gender option, but the default hairstyle is THAT hairstyle. You all know the one, where you know exactly what to expect as soon as they open their mouth in real life.

If the character creator is any indication of what we can expect from the game itself, I'll be staying very clear.

yup ^ it seems downgraded. Just have to wait until the final product/game is release. Hope it was just a demo and yes i notice the emote list has been downgraded.

I'm downloading SR5 first before buying it, not making the same mistake i made with SR3R which i downloaded first, and decided to buy the game from epic games for 9.99. So before i buy sr5, im testing it out first.

Can you change the main protagonist to a guy for the campaign or is it a fixed character?

You can make it a guy via all the options, but there's no clear gender definition. It's basically whatever. This game will be such a dumpster fire.

Doesn't look like it's even worth downloading, Samsung cut my warranty in half so this is a genuine concern. I can't afford to be downloading any old POS otherwise I'd need a new SSD every year.
