What hapenned to the coop of this game?
I can't connect to anyone through matchmaking, and it seems to me it's not becus there is no matches available, but becus there is something wrong with the matchmaking. Anyone having the same issue who were able to fix it(or not)?

Also, is saints row:the third(the oldest one) suffering from the same problem or coop still works fine??

Hi I faced the same problem. I wanted to play with my brother, but the game doesn’t find or connect, although we are in the same house and there are definitely no connection problems

Pretty sad it isn't working for both of us. Let me know if you find any solution. I am also trying to mess with some firewall ports to see if that solves anything, but i am not used to it. Anyway i'll comment here again if i find anything useful.

I found a solution. You don’t need to create a new save for the co-op, but load an existing one. Just go through the first mission separately with a friend and reach the open world. Then one can connect to the other

Glad you did it! my problem with connection is quite different. I can't find any matches available for playing. Seems like no one is playing this game or i am having weird connection problems in this game, i'm quite convinced that only the second option is true. I haven't tested a private match with a friend though, since i have no friends that play this game.

They probably used the same broken netcode as SR:IV and SR:GOOH they knew it didn't work and that's why they removed all the co-op achievements. What a lazy remastered.

Shame. SR:IV is being able to at least let me connect through matchmaking and play with others(besides some eventual connection problems). I managed to connect to a strange in SR RE after many many tries but that's all i was able to achieve and i was never able to do that again. Might be the lower player flow in comparison with Saints row IV(and the crossplay with epic wich only SRIV has, as i am aware of. They could've implemented that in the remastered as the same way they did with the "re-elected" version of the sequel, sadly they didn't). I guess the hope is that SR3MP mod wich is in development: https://sr3mp.net
