2.3GB patch for a mask?
Anyone else get this today and the only news is a payday mask?

Yep, this patch is making a huge difference from the looks of it. Hell, cutscenes are even running at 60 FPS instead of the old 30 FPS the original has. It's amazing.

PS: There's no patch notes anywhere however, so I wonder what else was fixed.

Sadly I couldn't find any patch notes but it seems they increased the fps cap in cutscenes from 30 to 60 if I'm not mistaken.

That's a very nice improvement and really much appreciated :)
Thanks so much to the devs for increasing, it makes the experience so much better.

Wish devs would be better about including patch notes whenever a game gets an update.

But good news on the fps cap being upped to 60 on cut scenes.

Alder Lake compatibility patch? Aka removing Denuvo?

Main binary file size reduces drastically when Denuvo is removed from games. This update didn't change size much, so no.
Also this game is not known to have Alder Lake compatibility issues.

That's because this game does not use Denuvo. Deep Silver has stopped using Denuvo back in 2019 and removed it from all their titles. :happyotus:

Its great they fix the cut scene fps. So anything else?

This is a pretty major update that deserves more fanfare. I have been dying for uncapped cutscenes since the OG's release.

Too bad I'm over SR3.

Too late, no patch will save this mess of a game.

I reinstalled the game, restarted the campaign and noticed the game is running buttery smooth. Cutscenes are running at 75fps, gameplay running above 100fps, it's great. Cause when this game launched back in May 2021 on steam, fps for cutscenes were 22fps and gameplay a measly 60, sometimes dripped to 50 for me in some cases.

I wish I knew, but there's no patch notes ANYWHERE.
