Can you transfer your Epic save to the Steam version?
Wanted to know if you can transfer your save from the epic version of this game to the steam version. If so which folder would I have to transfer my save to/from?

What is your problem? Someone just asked politely a question. I can't believe how much hate is in this forum.
Anyways Steam stores the savegames at the Userdata\978300\remote folder. Maybe you could copy the savegame from User\Username\Appdata\Local\Saints Row The Third to that folder.
If Steam Cloud is enabled, maybe when you start the game, it will show a dialog, where you can upload the new savegame. I don't know if that works, but it's worth a try.

I have a save game from Epic and was also curious since I was able to do this for Borderlands 3 without any issues.

The problem is that people such as OP are supporting Epic's anti-consumer exclusivity deals. We also have people such as yourself that are helping said, while claiming you don't understand the issue.

I understand and I'll try to respect anyone's opinion, but the OP just asked a question about transferring saves. There are many topics about the exclusivity, and this one is not about that. I'm also not favoring the exclusivity, about EGS and console exclusivity too, but we must respect each other's decisions. If someone's buying a game, even if the game's got an exclusivity deal, it's a personal decision.
On other note, I've ran more bugs in the Steam version, than in the EGS version, some even game breaking.

Again promoting Epic. Why? Are you really that ignorant?

Alright, alright, you won, I was just trying to help someone, but I'll stop now, the original question was answered.

How's this promoting Epic??? He's just asking if he can transfer the save file to steam. A simple answer would have sufficed.

Anti-EGS people need to get over themselves...

People aren't anti EGS, people are against the forced exclusives that Epic promotes. You really had no idea, or just trolling?

Thanks for your help unfortunately it looks like the Steam saves and Epic saves are incompatible with eachother. So I think for the time being I will just stick with the Epic version.

I've not written that, so I can promote it on the other platform, I was just frustated, the game doesn't worked, like intented. Meanwhile I managed to solved the problem, so I keep playing the game on Steam.

Friend told me apparently you have to restart steam to get the save transfer to work. Hopefully this works.
