no i mean if you're too lazy and cheap to upgrade to windows 10 might as well just stick to the original game that does work on 7

I have both 7 and 10 installed. I prefer 7. No spyware, no adware, less of a resource hog. The only reason I mainly use 10 is because of the compatibility problems with newer games.

Why exactly do you talk as if 10 is automatically superior?

Every time someone asks about a game if it runs on windows 7 I see a toxic little fanboy such as yourself throwing insults. We have ended up in a society where particular VERSIONS of an operating system have fanboys. What a world to live in.

i never insulted anyone i just pointed out if anyone is so bothered by "will this game run on windows 7?" just upgrade to 10 and be done with it. cause games are going to continue to not be supported more and more

but like i like to tell people. look at text only communication like you're autistic. because that's somewhat what it's like. you can't read any social cues from the dry plain text. and personally adding a "tone" to anything you read on the steam message board unless someone has gone out of the way to label it with a tone like :sarcastic: oh that's sooooo great :/sarcastic: you can't know in what way someone ment it

in the case of my saying "why not just play the original on 7" as i said initially was perfectly serious.. why not just play the original if you're on 7? same game just not as pretty

In the minimum system requirements it states Windows 10. That should have been all the answer you needed.

You can fix most(if not all) of those issues in literally 5 minutes. Windows 10 barely uses any resources here, and barely ever did even on my old, 8GB machine. A simple google search can show you how to do that.

Not judging, but I couldn't imagine choosing to run Windows 7 in 2021. It is such a dated interface and offers no security protection. If you're concerned about sending your personal information to Microsoft, almost all of that can be disabled in options and additional spyware type behaviour can be taken care of by third-party applications.

If you're worried about running older games or programs, Windows 10 still has compatibility mode.
