What did they censor?

"Wife Beater" tank top has been removed from the 'Nobody Loves Me' store.

(The tank top is actually in Saints Row IV at 'Nobody Loves Me' as Wife Beater Tease. To be fair, it does feature the logo for Saints Row: The Third. My original game is heavily modded and I most likely didn't catch that I had this added to my personal copy).

(Furthermore, The cut-off shorts are Hoochie Shorts and in IV they are redesigned as Daisy Approved Shorts).

Wife Beater was only in SR4, and I'm pretty sure Tits N' Grits never had a nip slip.

There was never a tank top called 'wife beater' at Nobody Loves me near as I can tell. There was a Candy Girl Tank, which is still there.

There's an actual wife beater style at Planet Saints just called 'Tank Top.' Its still in both versions with the same name.

I double checked with the original just now to be sure I wasn't imagining things. The T&G sign definately changed. The nipple is really subtle on the original though.

Concerning, the Shaundi magazine cover -- the assumption is her pixelated nipples needed to be altered since they are now visible in higher resolution. Remember, in the original game, when you went nude your chest or junk was still censored. The only way to show full nudity was with a mod.

It would have been because it was called "wife beater"-- the tank top itself wasn't objectionable. I cannot prove or disprove if this item was in the store. The only reference to it is in another thread from 2020 discussing censorship in the Epic release.

So far the censorship gripes are pretty weak. The name of one tank top and two forgettable background images? Come on.

Is there any actually noteworthy content censored? Are dialogues changed or beeped out? Have entire scenes or sub-plots been removed? Has a supporting character been heavily altered content-wise? These would be noteworthy and major causes to complain about censorship.

It sounds to me like some of you guys expected to like the game, found yourselves disliking it, and are now looking for any tenuous excuse as the reason. I doubt anyone's fondest memories of SR3 was some blurred nip slip in some background detail. Maybe you guys just grew up and your good memories didn't live up to what was actually there? It happens to everyone sometimes.

They did make Shaundi's face pretty ugly. Only noticeable "bad" change in that manner that I've found. Though her new face just kinda makes sense, looks a bit closer to her SR2 appearance and makes her look like a smoker.
