Apparently this was an existing issue with the game dating back to the epic release - how did this not get fixed in a friggin year?

Yup, same issue here also. Controller don't work in menus, and ingame the sensitivity is bonkers.

Ok, I solved my issue by forcing off the xbox controller configurator in steam, because the default template apperantly emulates mouse and keyboard with your controller.

Top left menu, Steam>Settings>Controller>General controller settings, tick off xbox xonfiguration.

@DS_Cyrin - restarting steam did nothing, I even restarted my PC, didnt work. @Protosar, tried that, unfortunately didnt fix the issue for me, thanks though
