Try limiting the fps to 60. I know it sucks, but i didnt crash for 2-3 hours since i did it.

I refunded the game because of the constant crashes, one even restarted my whole system.
I tried everything from limiting FPS, Updating Drivers, Disabling SLI (which the original Supports), changing sound devices, setting Nvidia Drivers to all defaults, and lowering games settings. nothing worked. I went and installed the original, set it to max settings at 4k and it plays flawlessly for 5 hours without crashes.. Don't know what they did to this one, but they screwed the pooch for sure.

For reference I am playing on Dual RTX 2080Ti's in SLI, with the latest Nvidia driver.
The original looks almost as good at 4k and runs like butter. I can even do 120 FPS, with Vsync off, and it still runs perfectly.

Did you try disable the SLI? Maybe the game doesn't like 2 cards at once.

Bruh don't facepalm me. It's a known fact that SLI can cause crashes in games.

They already refunded it, so any assistance is pointless.

He face-palmed you because he actually already tried to disable SLI. Did you even read the first few lines of his comment?

Have you guys also tried using DXVK? Or not using Ultra Low Latency mode in the gpu control panel for this game?

This didn't help me.

Hm.

Could it also be worth downgrading the gpu driver instead of updating it?

I'm on 457.51, and SR3 Remastered has been running relatively stable here. You just need to stop Windows from automatically downloading/installing drivers for the gpu (DDU can do this for you).

Only had 2 crashes during my total playtime on Steam so far, and ingame has been at least 99.97% smooth. I haven't been getting the constant stutter every few seconds like some people have either, just a relatively minor one every few hours.

The game seems to run fine at 60 fps on medium with Intel Iris Xe integrated GPU and i7 CPU but my game is still crashing just before I could complete the intro. I really hope the devs are currently fixing the game.

My friend has the same issue, we got it off of the free Epic sale, since he completed the intro, he crashes every 10-30 minutes around there. Even got him to lower graphics and still nothing.
