I tried everything from limiting FPS, Updating Drivers, Disabling SLI (which the original Supports), changing sound devices, setting Nvidia Drivers to all defaults, and lowering games settings. nothing worked. I went and installed the original, set it to max settings at 4k and it plays flawlessly for 5 hours without crashes.. Don't know what they did to this one, but they screwed the pooch for sure.
For reference I am playing on Dual RTX 2080Ti's in SLI, with the latest Nvidia driver.
The original looks almost as good at 4k and runs like butter. I can even do 120 FPS, with Vsync off, and it still runs perfectly.

They already refunded it, so any assistance is pointless.

Have you guys also tried using DXVK? Or not using Ultra Low Latency mode in the gpu control panel for this game?
This didn't help me.
Could it also be worth downgrading the gpu driver instead of updating it?
I'm on 457.51, and SR3 Remastered has been running relatively stable here. You just need to stop Windows from automatically downloading/installing drivers for the gpu (DDU can do this for you).
Only had 2 crashes during my total playtime on Steam so far, and ingame has been at least 99.97% smooth. I haven't been getting the constant stutter every few seconds like some people have either, just a relatively minor one every few hours.
