Constant Disconnect Error in Co-op
Hello Everyone,

When attempting to play the game Co-op me and my friend are having constant disconnect issues. Typically we can only play for 10 - 15 minutes before a disconnect occurs and even then we both have a constant 'slow connection' on our screens. We don't normally have these issues with games where we play co-op so was hoping to see if this is a Saints Row 3 Remastered situation that will get looked at or if there is other things we can try.

As to what we are doing when the disconnect occurs it really doesn't matter. We can be fighting the whole city and it goes or we can be standing around in a store and it happens. Constant, disruptive and repetitive. We can't do missions, we can't complete any of the game together.

Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts or ideas on how to fix this problem? I wasn't sure if there could be a regional issue seeing as I am in the States and my friend is in Europe.

Thank you!

This is the issue with game's netcode, ported from the original, there's nothing you can do to fix it, every Saints Row has it, it's the engine's fault. Better just to avoid MP completely.

The devs did nothing to patch this game, all they did was a visual & audio upgrade.
Don't expect anything to be fixed this issue was in the original version.

My friend & I refunded this after 40 mins of gameplay, such a lazy remaster...

SOLUTION ~

I wanted to share this with you guys, because I had the same problem and needed to search for a long time, until I read some post in the older version's discussion, you're welcome - and everyone coming after me:

For Co-Op to work you need to sync your framerate / FPS with your co-op partner.
Both have to chose (for example) 60 fps + VSYNC, so you won't get disconnected in missions or while driving car.

If your FPS differ too much (you got 75 fps, your partner has 45 fps) your partner will get disconnected. So try to get your visual settings set up in a way you have constant FPS during game - same as your partner.

And now.

Enjoy the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
