However I've already fallen out with Steam support to the point that they are no longer my primary source of games, so if they don't like this thread thats fine by me!
Its obvious I have a Steam account, but how about just trying to help other people with their problems, regardless of where they have come from?
I cannot find this file to edit, maybe because I can't get it to run?
That's a problem, because devs will see this, think it's a Steam problem, spend time fixing a problem that doesn't exist, instead of fixing from where the source is. Wasted time that could be spent fixing really old issues, or they could've gotten these issues reported in a more general "forum", like Reddit. Or even better.
Their support.
The place they literally keep telling everyone to report issues at.
Anyways, you should definitely make sure you have your graphics drivers updated, and check PCGW for any issues they mention about the game not starting, if there is any.
If the devs cannot understand 'Got it free from Epic and it will not start at all' and start looking at the Steam version rather than the recently free Epic version, well they should go get their eyes tested right away!
Also I've looked at many sources to fix this problem and not a single one of them was from Epic because they actually don't care and have minimal support.
I will say again, whilst I no longer regard Steam as my main thing (due to them having rubbish customer service) I've put this out there in order to try to help other people and me get this game running!
For some weird reason I cannot copy and paste your text, can you 'unhide' it and post again?
Thank you as well for trying to help :-)
Yeah, I edited it out, sorry. I wanted to make it smaller but forgot steam doesnt callapse hidden text.
Oh well I'm going to leave this thread open because I can't be the only one :-)
