lol I didn't bother to launch yesterday, but I did now for you, it works flawlessly, starts up faster than the damn epic launcher, good fps, no stuttering.
On fullscreen and ultra settings, minus the motion blur and depth of field (those two are not features, they make all games look worse).
I got a bit annoyed I didn't see a FOV slider. But runs smooth.
I ordered and am waiting since 09.2020 a 3080, still in line.
I have 1080 and core i7 9700KF, 32 gb ram.
Because steam didn't pay for it.
Valve takes a large portion a bigger portion fee per game sale and for hosting the game monthly than epic does... why use steam when epic is still expanding?
With such a question as yours how about this, why doesn't steam have a gamepass like nearly every other company out there, XBOX, PLAYSTATION, EA, UBISOFT, shall I continue??
Don't worry, I got the game to work, but the controls are all messed up! A is B, B is X, etc. And when you actually try to PLAY the game, left analog is camera/aiming the gun, right is actual movement, and "start" is to shoot your gun! "Select" is zoom. Its an unplayable mess unless you use something probably like Xpadder.
I think it's either because it's a generic controller or one the game doesn't support. Steam Input normally does the job for you, but I'm not sure if it's auto for this game.
EDIT: Oh, I didn't see this was on a epic copy, nvm
"if you want it free on steam, then buy the company??? companies have money issues especially with covid"not the gaming community
