Can't open/play game

Since yesterday, when I wanted to check up and play a bit, I am not able to load/start the game. The screen opens, but then the dodecahedron keeps on spinning without the game starting or loading afterwards.

Does somebody have the same problem or any fixes?

a new event started yesterday, so maybe you need to update the game? you could also try verifying game files

Encountered this today - the game is just stuck on the initial loading screen. I verified the game files (1 re-downloaded), no change, restarted my PC, no change, verified the game files (again 1 re-downloaded), still the game doesn't load.

In fact each time I try to launch the game, then verify the files, there is 1 failed file. (But not if I verify it twice consecutively.)

sadly no, it's still stuck on 'Starting Semblance'

The other active thread made me check my Kaspersky's logs, and yup, it's been flagging and deleting a game file.

Better to not re-install the game until they solve that trojan thing

Agreed, we have to be careful with whatever the anti-viruses detects on our devices, and if it is actually a false alarm, we should just reinstall Cell to Singularity and whitelist it.

If it's a false alarm I think the devs should report it to Kaspersky, so they remove the detection for everyone.

Exactly, Kaspersky system is mostly automated and it is not the workers’ fault their system could be showing false alerts. It can easily happen with all the anti-viruses, nothing is 100% perfect.

I get a message from Kaspersky that this is deleted

Interesting. I get no such notification.

For me CtS in't even blocked. It's all whitelisted.
So it MUST be that even after verification, this file is immediately deleted by Kaspersky.
I'll look into it, but IMO:
The DEVs should do something about that ASAP.

Yep, Kaspersky deletes "Assembly-CSharp.dll"
as a "HEUR: Trojan.Win32.DarkNeuron.gen".

Got no notification.
Kaspersky just deletes it right after the download.
It's in your Anti-Virus List, if you want to look for yourselves.

That's a job for the DEVs. Not going to play around with that.
