WHERE THE HECK IS COMPSOGNATHUS?

In mesozoic valley 15. a task is to photograph compsognathus. I have ten of them but cannot find them at all. Had no problem with any previous photo something task, but this guy, WHERE could it be hiding????

on your dino screen click on your veloceraptor , as they run around you will see some tiny dino's on a hill thats what your looking for

You can just click the dinosaur you need in your list; your camera will go focus on it.

Well I do not yet HAVE a veloceraptor, and NO you cannot just click the camera and go to it. Doesn't work. It just gots to dyno land. Then you hunt.


GEES this game is a snooze. I cannot rank up ANYTHING, got two dinos that need upgrading and the cost is INSANE. Had an auto click going for hours. Maybe next MONTH I'll get the next asteroid?

Have you tried the + and - buttons on any given dinosaur? That cycles through them all as far as I know.

You 100% can double click on the dino's portrait on the left side/upgrade window and it will zoom in on that dinosaur in the simulation. You just have to to start on the dino land where they're all running around, not the web view.

+ = signs only click and give me more points. (what ever they call it.). Clicking the camera on either the main tree screen or the actual dino land screen DOES NOT GO TO THIS GUY.
I don't think it's there.

Is it possible it's because I have not unlocked the thing that automates it yet? Wish I knew how, I still have two more I have to upgrade before I can DO ANYTHING. This game really is a snooze. Maybe I'll have enough by morning. Afternoon. Evening. Next day....zzzzzzz

@Artmakersworld ... Jenny, switch to camera mode .. then use the up/down arrows on the left of the frame to cycle through your dino's ... Hope that helps

Jenny, to Automate the Dino's collection... you need to apply the speed up/ payout increase cards on the Dino's ... on Mezo screen ... upper left ... middle icon (lightning bolt) you get a freebie Geode to open ... cards in these ... also to the left of that is a series of cards you already have from any Geode's you have already opened ... apply them to your Dino's (Same with system with planet leveling up in Beyond part) ... Hope that helps again

Well I unlocked the automate thing, got 20 of them and THEY ARE NOT TO BE FOUND!!!!!!!!!!

I have two more that need upgrading before I MIGHT get an asteroid and start over AGAIN. And those need some 40 more steps. I might get there in the next CENTURY.

Well steam announced in a few months they will no longer work on my IOS. I have NO plans to upgrade so I probably won't be able to play this long enough to see where it goes.

Can you please open the dinosaur list while viewing the garden? Then click the face of the Compsognathus in that list.

However, looking at my own garden and comparing to yours it looks like they're not there. Are you sure you've bought any at all in this run? They're supposed to be standing on the cliff immediately above the the three stegosaurs in that picture.

I FINALLY FOUND it. Every time I would go to dino land and use the camera to point at the thing I am suppose to shoot, no matter how I had that land orientated it would point to the same spot. So.... I found these guys up on a high plateau. Finally got my photo. Shees.

now.... WHAT is the point of this section of the game? I have already used the asteroid and rebuilt from scratch several times over. Is there an end point I am trying to reach?

There is. The Dinosaur simulation caps out at ten prestiges and provides a buff to the main simulation for each prestige.
