How to access the new event?

Hello,

how do I start the new event? I have a cloud symbol in place where the event button usually is but when I click on it it says "update necessary" or something and I can click on "get" and "later" - I clicked on "get", but nothing happens. I also closed the game to see if it updates, but nothing happens as well -.-

Any ideas?

How far have you progressed in the primary game? I think you need to get to around APES to unlock the Exploration Hub (the shiny portal on the main tree) and from there, you can can access events in the navigation tabs.

If you're already unlocked it and still can't play, it might be a bug, which would be helpful to report to [e-mail]
