Diamond Geode the only thing worth buying? *with Darwinium*

If you didn't know, dinos are the only tree that has prestige (10 times after level 50), and it takes like twice as long to max out than planet area, and like 10 times longer than the main sim.

So you are looking at about 95% of the total play time in the dino area.
Stone Geodes barely give any Epic or Rares (the only thing you keep when you prestige).
Diamond Geodes give 6.666 times more Rares than Gold Geodes, and cost 5 times more.
Diamond Geodes give 15 times more Epics than Gold Geodes.


To be clear, I have never bought a single Diamond Geode, because I never bothered to do the math, and also I wasted a bunch in the main sim and the planetary area.

Going forward it's pretty clear where to spend Darwinium though, anything else seems like a waste.

Although I can see people enjoying dumping it all into events.. The 1% gain from getting to 3 stars seems useless, but maybe the logits are worth it till you max out those purchases.

So far, I have bought 4 diamond geodes before prestiging. 1 on level 25 and, 1 on level 40 and 2 on level 50. I'm now almost level 50 in my first prestige and planning to get another diamond geode. After that I probably repeat that in upcoming prestiges as long as I have over 400 darwinium, so I always have 300+ darwinium for a rare event/big update.

In events, I regularly spent darwinium on a 4 hour double boost. Usually for new events I spent them all to get a x4 boost for 72 hours, so I get to easily finish it. The second time for an event I usually have enough with 48 hour boost. I do leave my laptop running through the nights with that still.

After mesozoic valley, I might spend more darwinium on events, but so far my focus lies heavily on the dinosaurs :).
