Yeah, boosting the events is a good use of Darwinium. Keeping the event boosted in conjunction with an autoclicker will practically guarantee you'll finish the event with time to spare.
My personal advice is to save the darwinium until you have 100, then spend it all for a diamond geode. Expect an insane boost in the Mesozoic Valley.
Supergiant Star in the beyond is also good, just less impressive. I'd buy it in a second time.
I disagree with the others, events rewards are not good. I'd start using darwinium in events only after purchasing a couple diamong geode, and one or two supergiant star.
The real problem with spending all your Darwinium pursuing epics and rares is the paltry bonus increase of .5x per level, taking hundreds of cards to gain those levels once you're above 6 or 7.
Don't get me wrong, epic and rare cards are great. I just wouldn't spend 100 Darwinium on the a blind grab bag of who-knows-what cards. But if lootbox gambling is your thing, by all means have at it.
Back to the point. And my point is that the "first" diamond geode you get is a blast. No gambling there, epics and rares are a guaranted thing. You don't choose them, but who cares, they're all great.
You know, I was reconsidering my position right after I posted and thinking you had a good point if it was the FIRST diamond geode, early in the game, and you got levels of a few different cards. And I'll probably try this if I decide to restart the game after completing Prestige 10, since the only thing you get to keep is your Darwinium.
Thanks for the tip!
unless you actually plan to leave the game going for those 2 hours with an autoclicker, then it'd be worth it, otherwise, just double your offline earnings for whichever sim or even you need it for.
granted, you can get a lot of it, i have over 500 and never payed for any, but i'm finished all 3 regular simulations. it seemed like the Beyond gave me a lot of them.
