I don't opt in as an Insider because my schedule is wonky, and I don't like having the obligation to take part in flights when I just don't have the time to participate. Now I have the time, and the ticket in is just barely out of reach.
Real nice.
Says the one who buys Smartwater :v
Opting in as an insider has no obligation at all, I used it so I could try out MCC releases early and to play these Infinite flights.
But since it was announced that they were inviting everyone, insider or not, I was absolutely ready download whatever I need to and go. But since they added that arbitrary code thing, I suppose it's whatever if I just sit this one out again :p
If you're iffy on trying out pre-release content, why do you want to take part in the flight? That's exactly what this is.
Whilst there's no official confirmation, I would be surprised if this were the final flight before launch. And there's no guarantee that future flights won't be limited to insiders. So if you do want the best chance of getting in, you might as well register as an insider. And if you don't want to play pre-release software, then there's no issue right? Just don't sign up. But of course don't be surprised if you face hurdles getting into a flight if you change your mind later.
I do recognize that this is pre-release content. I meant that I'm normally not interested in trying out features before they come out. So like beta channels for various apps and games allowing those who opt in to test new features, like the MCC update flights. Halo Infinite really has me pretty excited, though, and I did wanna try that out. I guess not excited enough to do a bit of fiddling on Waypoint just to undo it again in a day or so, lol.
I guess my confusion was with having to opt in on Waypoint while Xbox players can just boot up the insider app to climb aboard with arguably less fuss. I apologize for making little sense and whining about my first-world non-issue, especially since I could just solve it myself with little effort. I still wanna hear from them why they went about this flight in this way, but it ultimately really doesn't matter. :p
have you fixed the brutes looking like gorillas?
when will halo 5 get ported to PC?
