Halo 2 coop campaign input lag suddenly reappeared.
This started as a problem even before the halo 2 campaign. I was playing with the same friend the halo CE campaign with input lag before, but it fixed by changing the "low latency mode" in nvidia control panel to "Ultra".
The game ran smoothly until last night, when we changed games to Halo 2, in which the 1st chapter ran perfectly smoothly and we managed to complete it. However, since it was late, we went to sleep and left it for today, but once the chapter loaded, I started experiencing the same input lag as before with Halo CE, but now I can't seem to find a way to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Late response, but I have the same problem. Apparently it's a problem with the way the game is coded, and will probably never be fixed.

I tried to play with a friend in Italy and I had half second input delay. If I hosted, then he had the delay.

Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to avoid this unless we just play solo or with someone who lives closer to us.

The only thing we CAN do is leave a bad review and hope the devs work on it if enough people give negative feedback.

One thing that managed to fix it is to disable "low latency mode" in nvidia control panel.
I had it on due to Halo:CE giving me the same problem and that fixed it. However, it seems to cause the opposing effect on Halo 2.
