How to fix the ugly dotted/checkered shadows in Halo 1 and 2 Anniversary
Posting this here so people know since I couldn't find a fix myself. Well, specifically I found a fix for Halo 1 but not Halo 2. So here you go, if you're one of the few people who play with the Anniversary graphics and want to know how to get rid of the messed up shadows here you go.

For Halo CE: Anniversary set your shadows to "Normal" or lower. The "High" setting seems to be what produces the problem.

For Halo 2: Anniversary set your Post Processing Quality to "Low" anything higher than Low unfortunately seems to produce the issue.
I'm no expert but someone else told me the issue has something to do with the ambient occlusion resolution not scaling properly on the PC version. Sadly for now this is the only fix I know of.

Hope this helps anyone like me that wanted to get rid of those ugly shadows on your weapons.
