Weekly challenges not working right??

I've had some problems for the last couple of months with MCC, where I'll unquestionably complete an objective that progresses those weekly challenges for Spartan points, but then it just goes unacknowledged. At least half of the missions I've played just haven't counted toward the narrative navigator one. I was on normal difficulty and I wasn't using score-disabling skulls for any of this, nor was I playing with anti-cheat disabled, so something is definitely not working as intended.

I had to win both ranked games before I got any progress on the win ranked challenge this week and last week.

I had to run a campaign mission twice to get the skull credit, and turned off anything extra like IWHBYD, etc. Just bare minimum for complete a legendary mission for navigator progress and do the skull challenge.
