EAC wont let me launch MCC

Recently I've been trying to launch MCC but every time I try the EAC window pops up to load like normal, but while the loading window is on screen my computer freezes up temporarily. After it unfreezes MCC crashes and I get a error code 10011 pop up window. It will launch perfectly when I disable EAC.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling twice. The first time I did it, it froze at the EAC pop up like before but it eventually launched the game and i was able to play like normal. After closing the game though and retrying to launch it went back to error code 10011 and after the 2nd uninstall & reinstall it just crashes the same way as before.

I've also tried fixing the EAC laucher in the files, checked all my drivers & updated everything I could think of, gave it access past my anti virus, turned off overlays i have for Discord & the Xbox app, verified the files on Steam. I'm at a lost on what else to try so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried re-installing EAC? There's an installer included here.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Halo The Master Chief Collection\installers

I don't have a good suggestion past that. What OS and OS version are you running? That error code is probably an EAC-specific error. Have you tried searching for it?

I have tried using the installer in the file you stated and no luck. I'm using windows 10 at the moment. I have tried looking up the error code and tried the troubleshooting but so far none of which has helped.

I have been just uinstalling and messing around with certain settings such as the TPM within my BIOS which has changed the error code from 10011 to 13, 15, & 29 of which are all the same error. Which I guess is some kinda progress lol.

I just submitted a ticket to 343 so maybe they can help shed some light hopefully.

Bummer. 343i's support thing can be slow but they'll respond eventually.

I don't hear about EAC issues often. You mentioned allowing it through your anti-virus but have you tried disabling your anti-virus entirely? The only thing I learned for certain while looking it up is that Fall Guys doesn't issue refunds for in-game purchases.

Bingo man that was it. I turned of my anti virus completely and it finally let the game launch. i went through each protection that i had on, im using malwarebytes. The specific one holding the game back was the exploitation protection option.

Weird, sounds like the exact issue we linux users are dealing with. IIRC, the reason for us is EAC is out of date or something, or so i've read. not sure if that's true or not.

According to EAC, error 10011 means that it detected something attempting to read the process in memory, such as a cheat program. However some programs might do this for other reasons, like a keylogger virus, mods, etc. I don't know exactly how Discord detects games, but that might be a place to look, though i haven't heard of that in particular being mentioned as having issues with EAC. This error code is specifically what EAC is designed for: preventing memory modification of a protected software.

Yeah I'm not sure entirely what it was, but I repeated the steps I described above about the anti-virus programs and I got it to work again consistently so far for the past 5 days. Really weird I've never had this problem before, hopefully it does not come back again.

Thought i'd post an update on my problem in case anyone stumbles across this thread in search for help. I found this solution from a different games EAC. The developer of that game posted this as a solution. It worked for me as soon as i did it. I linked the screenshot below.
