I doubt you missed the information that Windows7 is discontinued. But I would like to remind you that telling everyone on the internet that you are running a vulnerable machine may not be the smartest idea.

You run the risk of getting some serious malware with each passing year man. Do yourself a favor and upgrade to windows 11. If you can't then maybe it's time for a new PC.

How does that matter, i've been daily driving linux on my intel cpu for a long time, no issues. I think ur mistaking the nvidia GPU issues on linux (which works fine now, it's old news) compared to AMD's support for linux. Intel has no issues with linux.

could you elaborate more on this, since i believe your only way of playing this game without upgrading to win 10/11 would be to use linux. Is it due to secure boot or any other issue? Those can be turned off in your BIOS btw.

updating to windows 8 is also an option. it still works there. i just tested it.

Eh, Ironically to some degree whilst some big security issues persist like vulnurabilities denoted as a CEV since no more patches the ammount of bad actors predating on Win7 Devices in the private sector is going down as there´s a point of Negative return preparing methods to attack those systems.
Doesn´t mean it´s safe, just that a Win10 is more at risk of being actively targeted over a Win7 device.

back on topic: it now uses a kernel function not found in the windows 7 version of kernel32.dll. that function is: removedlldirectory. though it still runs in windows 8. windows 8 is supported on that laptop. easy anticheat however requires windows 10. though i never use that anyway.
