Halo 5 coming to Steam PC or is it just a typo? I found this promotional image from X showing

I found this promotional image from X showing the Steam Deck handheld showing Halo 5 with the Logo on top of it in the game library. Is this true or is just a typo. Anyways, I hope this is true that Halo 5 is coming to PC. Always wanted to play as I don’t have a Xbox.

Also that's not the Steam Deck, that's I believe an Asus handheld marketing the fact that it will be releasing a version with SteamOS soon

Yeah I just looked up the link, it's legit. Very interesting, I guess we might have it on PC soon.

With how poorly the franchise is doing it doesn't seem too far fetched. It wouldn't be terribly expensive for Microsoft to port it and earn some money from the old game while at the same time satisfying the curiosity of PC users while they wait for the next game.

It is, however the franchise is basically dead anyway, so it's not like there's a reputation to uphold anymore.

The game is filled with microtransactions. From a corporate perspective, might as well port the game over and see if a handful of whales will sink money into it.

How you know that's a typo ? And I don't think Microsoft have even mentioned Halo 5 in this advert.

i'm just saying that the last few times halo 5 looked like it might be coming to pc it's just been mistakes in promotional material.

although it could also be a way to gauge interest in halo 5 on pc.

this is the first time a steam logo as appeared on a halo 5 image afaik.
