Halo 2 feels terrible

So i wanted to play Halo 2 on higher fps than 60 but its causing alot of stutter so i capped it at 60 but it still feels rather terrible to play.
Is there a way to run this game more smoothly or am i stuck with what i have?

Uhh, 60 FPS is not enough? My myth about high end gamers being brainwashed was true all this time...

Try not displaying your fps counter on the screen and just play the game.

I swear kids these days that need more than 60fps would have never survived playing anything before 2015.

What does displaying the FPS counter have to do with stuttering or frame drops? Maybe try less to take a dig at "those darn kids" and understand the issue.
