no go and just put me on ignore for not being a stan and hf with your trolling
They tried to add a new enemy type (The Promethians or however its spelt) but they was annoying all around, the weapons can one shot you because it incinerates you, the bulky enemy which is supposed to equal the Elites is the Knight, this enemy is so frustrating which most hate, they teleport everywhere making them a pain to kill, they don't always die to back smacks and then recoil round hitting you, their melee sends you flying which commonly will hit you over ledges or out of bounds killing you instantly, they are massive bullet sponges on legendary with mythic skulls and thunderstorm, you could argue this is self imposed but other games i can enjoy the Elites (or brutes) with them having good armour and hp but knights never die, when you finally kill them, watchers can come bring them back to life and its back to square one, very frustrating as they aren't like hunters either where there is just a few, they are like elites in that there is groups of them everywhere. Then there is the watcher enemy, its a flying robot which is immune to grenade sticks, it just reflects them back, when low on hp it just runs away out of bounds and hides out of the map until it heals and it comes commonly it small groups too.
The small dog enemy is fine but its just a grunt that climbs walls and can use 1 hit weapons (I guess rare grunts had fuel rod but these are common to carry 1 hit weapons).
Effectively, get ready for bad weapon choices (they chose a "cool" fire effect over good balance), frustrating enemy's and a story that is annoying at best. Basically, cortana has depression, has a emo about life and you chase her down telling her everything will be okay after a good nights rest and some kfc whilst some douche bag commander tells the UNSC to arrest the Chief for actually being useful and not being a waste of space.
Yeah, all characters will anger you in this outside maybe lasky who is just kind of "meh" and Chief who is Chief but not as fun as she spends the game trying to let cortana know she isn't useless and a good girl.
You should be fine on heroic, just don't waste your time making it harder, it isn't fun.
I love All the previous games on legendary with most skulls active (aside Iron and blind), it creates a challenge that's beatable but tough too, a fun experience that isn't frustrating, whilst 4... fighting bullet sponges with almost no ammo who teleport away every time they get a booboo and a npc cast of dumb tropes thrown together, there is a reason people saw this game as the fall of Halo. It's multiplayer is also a cod clone.
It's no the worst game ever but it isn't good. If you play Heroic and just plod on without spending too long you might enjoy it enough to beat it, just be aware, i pay and sometimes get buggy runs where my ghost keeps falling through the floor, this plot essential vehicles fall through the map or the game just breaks, i admit that only happens here and there but it's not uncommon enough to be ignored either.
Why wouldn't you? You said you've already played all them except four. Why stop now?
First, consider it's total lack of respect for the original Bungie titles;
They discarded the original art style in all forms, and blamed the change to Chief's armor on nanomachines- disregarding all the other stuff on board the Forward Unto Dawn. They designed the game around, at that point, a modern Call of Duty playstyle, which includes a long, long series of QTEs, a general lack of respecting player choice (wheras in earlier games, you could explore pretty huge areas to look for ammo, weapons, powerups, easter eggs, etc), and an obnoxious supporting cast that exists solely to yell invective at the player to complete a QTE at an objective, and treat an in-universe war hero like an 80-year-old tractor that just belched a bunch of rusty smoke into their face, rather than the intimidating and slightly freezer-burnt, 7-foot-tall, power armor-clad killing machine he actually is.
Second, consider the development of Halo 4, including Frank O'Connor's respect-mangling 'Nanomachines' microrant and adjacent material.
I would argue that the only worthwhile thing about Halo 4 is it's surprisingly good music, but that can be found elsewhere without bloating your hard drive with an, at best, mediocre sequel to a very good series.
