Reporting Hackers

Why is there no internal function to report/ban hackers? several games in a row I've had hackers and with the microsoft system you are penalised for quiting a match and yet there is no way to report the players. Am I missing something?

Just curious, having played well over 1000 games and run into only 1 obvious cheater, how do you know you had cheaters "several" games in a row?

Exact same players each game (I assume there must be a lower pool to select from these days) and they couldn't be killed, multiple grenades and shots from the entire 4 man team and we couldn't even kill 1 of them. They just stood still, obviously laughing and then shot us 1 at a time.

Ah, makes sense if it's the same people. In that case, it's best to report them directly at Halo Waypoint.

The game was recently on sale i wouldn't be surprised if the game got peppered with closet cheaters in Halo 3 and Halo Reach ( as those are the most common games in the collection to find cheaters on ).

I've ran into a few in Social BTB and Halo 3 Ranked slayer. I haven't encountered the can't kill ones before. Aimbot, and shooting through walls.. yes. There is even a video on SHC with a dude with a chain turret mowing people down on Ghost town lmao....

I remember seeing some aimbots and such running in Halo 2, 3 and Reach on the original versions, but never in MCC. Also some people are clearly using macros for button combos in Halo 2 lol. Does anyone have video of actual cheats like aimbots and wallhacks running on MCC, though? I've never seen it happen.

Most cheats on MCC seem to be private expensive ones such as Ghostware, It looks like many cheat developers aren't interested in MCC

Custom games aren’t protected by EAC so you can use Assembly to hook into the game and adjust the weapon’s hit probability by launching with EAC off. 343 also update EAC’s cheat definition every day. I’ve never played against a hacker in matchmaking and MCC multiplayer is the only game I play.

Yeah, I should have specified but I meant matchmaking. I know hacks can be run on MCC, but there's no evidence that they can be run in matchmaking. OP here was claiming to have played several matches against players with some kind of health hack. It would be cool to see the replay on that but until then, I haven't seen any proof of a hack running in matchmaking.
