Original Xbox Controller now working with Steam and MCC

Hello, for all my halo 2 classic/anniversary & CE fans today with the Xb2XImput driver and XBCD-v3 and access to a xbox 360 controller for windows 10 x64 to download the old drivers for GFWL the original controller with a USB adapter now works in all of MCC and other steam games. Just thought I'd throw this out there brings back the nostalgic effect of the game and for me personally makes it more fun. There is 3 simple steps and each web-page has there steps as-well.

1. download XBCD-V3
2. download xb2Ximput
3. plug in a xbox 360 controller for windows to download the drivers for it
4. re-plugin your original xbox controller and run the setup in steam and map out the buttons. (if you use the white button for the right bumper it will automatically tun your flashlight on in MCC, and black for left bumper for switching grenades)

DISCLAIMER: You will have to enable the installation of unsigned drivers in windows. (in the XBCD tutorial)

you seem like a wiz, how do i get a controller working? i have an xbox wired controller, maybe its 3rd party, says afterglow. Works for dark souls, it won't recognize in game. tried plugging it in before booting, controller lights up then stops working.
